Additional information
I always ride with custom molded ear plugs. On short or long rides. My tire impressions, especially with regards to noise, are naturally influenced by this. No helmet I’ve tried is good enough without additional (ear) protection. Custom fitted ear plugs with frequency filter is the best option. More expensive yes, but well worth it. And they last for an eternity.
