The 2024 seasonal rides started unusually early. Or I cannot recall having had my bike on the road that early in the year.
But it was cold. Then it went from cold to colder. And snow! Fortunately that didn’t last very long. And as we entered into later half of April, things began to improve. May came and and turned out to be the hottest May on records in my parts of Norway.

Autumn 2024
Later fall brought me back to Vestland and Aurland again. It is one of my favourite regions in Norway. When he weather also is on your side, well hopefully the pictures will tell that story fairly well!
August 2024
Don’t know why I separated August from the autumn gallery. Probably because the latter would get too crowded. August usually is a great month for riding in Norway. And indeed, it did not disappoint.
Euro Adventure 2024
It was my second Euro adventure with a friend. The same one who joined back in 2022. We had great fun, saw tons, rode many fantastic roads and ended up somewhere south of 5.800 kilometers all in all.
June 2024
As June arrived I started thinking about vacation. And another Euro-Adventure. Originally the plan was to take the Austrian Orange down to the Alps and do some off-roading. But then, on a whim I traded it in for my BMW number four, a 2022 1250GS.
It is a very different motorcycle from the KTM 890. Better for long distance touring. And it did not disappoint in the woods and on gravel either!
Spring 2024
The season started reasonably early. Later half of March I picked up the little orange from winter storage at the dealer. But suddenly, a few days later snow returned though it didn’t sit around for too long. It’s those things that can happen in the Nordics during spring.
April and May were great months with ditto great weather. Did quite a lot of riding, shorter or longer ones.
